Terms and Conditions of 1-on-1 Xero Training

Last updated: 22 March 2024

These are the terms and conditions that apply to the 1-on-1 Xero Training program offered by the Bookkeeping Tutor  (may also be referred to as ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘I’, ‘me’, or ‘my’).

These terms and conditions are to be read together with our general Terms and conditions and its appendix, the Privacy Policy, and any other formal written agreements between us.

Services

I will provide you 1-on-1 Xero training online. The training is a synchronous online training program, which means that you and I are logged in to the same platform (referred to as 'Learning Portal") at the same time and the training session is based on live communication between us.

The Learning Portal's user guide is available upon login and includes a demonstration of its main functionalities.

Client's responsibilities

It is your responsibility to book a time and date that is suitable for you. The booking is done via the Learning Portal.

If you are not able to find a date and time that suits you, it is your responsibility to contact me to request a specific date and time. Requesting a specific date and time does not guarantee my availability. I will endeavour to work with you to ensure you are able to meet with me in a timely manner.

Training sessions can be rescheduled with at least 12 hours notice. Notice must be given via the Learning Portal.

You must attend and participate in your training session at the dedicated time. If you do not show up for the scheduled session or fail to give sufficient notice for rescheduling (ie. reschedule with less than 12 hours notice), the session will be considered a "no-show"and will be charged at the full rate; therefore no refund can be requested.

If you need to reschedule a session due to an unforeseen emergency, the session will not be considered a "no-show" and, therefore, can be rescheduled without any additional costs, but the Bookkeeping Tutor has the right to request documentary evidence of the emergency before rescheduling.

Fees

You agree to pay the fees in full and on time. Payment may be made via PayPal or credit or debit card, processed by Stripe

If any payment is dishonoured for any reason, you will be liable for dishonour fees. If money remains unpaid, you will also be liable for any costs and disbursements that may be incurred in pursuing the debt (including legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis) and debt collection costs to the extent permissible under relevant legislation.

Refund policy

To ensure your peace of mind, I do offer a money-back guarantee.

If you do not want to attend the 1-on-1 Xero Training session for any reason, please inform us in writing at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session, and we’ll refund your purchase. No questions asked, no ifs, and no buts.

We’d appreciate it if you gave us honest feedback and a reason for your claim to help us understand and better our service offering; however, this is definitely not a condition for a refund.

Requests for refunds must be made in writing within the defined refund period.

The process to request a refund:

  1. cancel the training session in the Learning Portal strictly at least 24 hours before the scheduled training session; and
  2. send a refund request via email to [email protected] or by filling out this refund request form.

You are not entitled to a refund if your payment defaulted. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price you paid. If you purchased the service in conjunction with any discounts (voucher, promotion etc.), the value of that discount will be deducted, and only the exact amount you paid will be refunded. Your refund will be returned to you in the same way your order was paid.

Your refund claim will be processed within 2 (two) business days after receiving your claim. We will notify you by email once your claim has been processed.

Once we have processed your refund, your access to the 1-on-1 Xero Training will be withdrawn. Please also note that in this case, you are not allowed to use, apply or have any benefits from our service already rendered or intellectual property provided.
