Terms and Conditions of Online Courses

Please READ carefully. These are the terms and conditions that apply to any Online Training program (hereinafter: Course, Online Course, Program or Training) offered by the Bookkeeping Tutor  (may also be referred to as ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘I’, ‘me’, or ‘my’). By enrolling the Online Course, you agree to the terms as stated herein.

These terms and conditions are to be read together with our general Terms and conditions and its appendix, the Privacy Policy, and any other formal written agreements between us.

Refunds

Due to the online and instant nature of the Online Course, once you have access to it, you can watch (and download) the video lessons and download the learning materials, guides, and bonuses. This means that you can consume it once payment has been made, and access has been gained.

To ensure your peace of mind, I do offer a 48-hour money-back guarantee provided the following conditions are met: 

  • the Course is a paid course (meaning: no refund is offered for a free course)
  • refund request is sent via email to [email protected] or by filling out this refund request form strictly within 48 hours of the purchase (purchase means the exact time of submitting the order form) AND
  • either of the following conditions is met:
    • you did NOT log into the Learning Portal  OR
    • you DID log in, but you did NOT watch more than 25 % of the lessons in video view hours AND you did NOT download any pdf materials or videos 

Requests for refunds must be made in writing within the defined refund period. 

No further questions asked, no ifs, and no buts. 

We’d appreciate it if you gave us honest feedback and a reason for your claim to help us understand and better our service offering; however, this is definitely not a refund condition.

You are not entitled to a refund if your payment defaulted. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price you actually paid. If you purchased the service in conjunction with any discounts (voucher, promotion etc.), the value of that discount will be deducted, and only the exact amount you paid will be refunded. Your refund will be returned to you in the same way your order was paid.

Your refund claim will be processed within 2 (two) business days after receiving your claim. We will notify you by email once your claim has been processed. 

Once we have processed your refund, your access to the Online Course will be withdrawn. Please also note that in this case, you are not allowed to use, apply or have any benefits from our service already rendered or intellectual property provided.

 

Services

The Course is an asynchronous online training program, which means that it is supplied on an online platform (referred to as the 'Learning Portal'), and you'll consume the material by watching the videos, working through the exercises, and reading the supplied materials at your own pace. 

The course materials, especially the videos are not downloadable. However, there might be specific documents and material that can be downloaded to your personal computer.  

The Learning Portal's user guide is available upon login and includes a demonstration of its main functionalities.

The content of the online Course, including copyright and all other intellectual property rights contained therein, remains the property of the Bookkeeping Tutor. You may not reproduce any part of the online Course without my prior written consent.

 

Client's responsibilities

It is your responsibility to work through the Course on your own time. 

You must not share any information provided by other Program participants outside of the Program unless you receive express written permission from such other participants to do so. Similarly, you must not share the information provided to You in the Program with anyone other than other Program participants.

 

Fees

For paid Courses, you agree to pay the fees in full and on time. The payable fee is clearly stated in the online shopping cart on the Checkout page. Payment may be made via PayPal or credit or debit card, processed by Stripe

If any payment is dishonoured for any reason, you will be liable for dishonour fees. If money remains unpaid, you will also be liable for any costs and disbursements that may be incurred in pursuing the debt (including legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis) and debt collection costs to the extent permissible under relevant legislation.

 

Consent to receive email communication

You agree and specifically consent to receive email communications from us, including but not limited to course-related updates, promotional offers, newsletters, and other marketing materials when you purchase any of our online courses, sign up for any of our free online courses or you download any materials from our website.

You may opt out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the emails. Please note that unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect your receipt of essential course-related or product-related communications.

We highly value doing business with you and to keep your data safe with us per our Privacy Policies.

I do not provide advice or support outside of my areas of expertise. Specifically, the Bookkeeping Tutor does not provide financial or investment advice or products. I do not hold an Australian Financial Advisor licence. Furthermore, I am not qualified, willing or able to provide support in the form of counselling or therapy.

 

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

I reserve the right to update our Terms from time to time to ensure that the terms and conditions of using our Service remain current. I reserve the right to change or modify the current Terms without prior notice or consent. All modifications will be effective immediately upon my posting them on this website.

 

Consent

By purchasing (or enrolling - in case of a free course) the Online Course, you indicate and consent that you have read and agree to the Terms as well as Bookkeeping Tutor's general Terms and Conditions and its integral appendix, the Privacy Policy.
